Background
Researchers are studying whether complementary plant-proteins (i.e., two or more incomplete protein sources) must be consumed at the same meal to stimulate protein synthesis (the potential for muscle growth and repair)
The aim of the study is to provide direction to health professionals and individuals seeking to maximise the muscle-health benefits of animal and plant based meals.
This study seeks men and women who are currently healthy. Participants are required to attend a medical screening visit and up to 3 study visits at the research site over a 4 month period. Participants will be compensated for their time and effort.
