Background

Many children and adolescents suffer from depression. While there are a number of depression treatments available, few exist that are specifically designed for children and adolescents.

This clinical trial is studying the safety and efficacy of an investigational drug for the treatment of MDD in children and adolescents.

This study seeks children and teens who currently suffer from major depressive disorder. Participants are required to attend 9 study visits at the research site over a 10 week period and may provide modest compensation  for participating in this study.

  • Qualified health professionals will monitor your/your child’s health as it relates to the study.

Who Can Participate?

  • Pediatric patients  7-17 years old diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder or experiencing symptoms of depression
  • Must have parental/guardian consent to participate. 
  • Able to swallow whole tablets 
  • Able to attend 9 study visits at the research site over approximately 10 weeks
