About the Study
Asthma is one of the most common chronic conditions among teens, and many struggle with taking their daily medication as prescribed. Missing doses can make symptoms worse and increase the risk of asthma attacks.
Researchers are testing a new behavioral support program designed to help teens take their asthma medication more consistently. This program uses a mobile app and an inhaler sensor, and does not require any changes to existing medications.
By participating in this virtual study, your child could help researchers learn whether this type of support could improve asthma management for teens in the future!
Why Participate?
- Participants may learn to better manage their asthma by using the ReACT app, but there is no guarantee
- Participants will be contributing valuable information that may benefit those with asthma in the future.
- Participants will be helping to advance medical research.
- Participants will be compensated up to $225 for participating in this study.
Your Rights
- You will receive a detailed outline of all details of the study, including treatment, risks, and procedures, and you will be given the chance to ask study staff questions before you decide whether to participate.
- If you decide to participate in the study and later feel that you no longer wish to be part of it, you can withdraw at any time
