Background
Approximately 1 in 7 Australians will experience depression in their lifetime. Unfortunately, antidepressants are not always successful in completely addressing symptoms.
This study is investigating whether a special combination of natural supplements, taken together with antidepressants, can relieve symptoms in people with depression. Examples of these supplements include Omega 3, Zinc and Folic Acid, which are safe to consume and have been available as supplements for many years.
This study seeks men and women who are experiencing symptoms of depression and currently taking antidepressants. Participants are required to attend 4 study visits every 2 weeks over a 2 month period. Participants will be reimbursed $100 for their time and expenses and provided with a 2 month supply of the study supplement at the completion of the trial.
