Background
Approximately 5.4 million Americans suffer from dementia due to Alzheimer’s Disease. Currently there is no cure for Alzheimer’s Disease.
Previous research shows that there may be a link between sleep, cognitive abilities and Alzheimer’s Disease. This study is investigating whether an investigational medication which aids sleep, can help improve or slow down symptoms of dementia.
This study seeks men and women who have been diagnosed with mild dementia due to Alzheimer’s Disease. Participants must have a permanent caregiver and be able to attend 5-6 study visits over a 7 month period. Participants will be compensated $325 for participating in this study.

Who Can Participate?
- Men and women aged 60 – 85 years old
- Diagnosed with mild dementia due to Alzheimer’s Disease
- Have a permanent caregiver
- Able to attend 5-6 study visits over a 7 month period
