About the Study
The right support can change everything for a young person facing substance use. Even one breakthrough, one safe space, one encouraging voice, can shape a new path forward.
Researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital are working closely with teens and young adults to test a new kind of therapy that combines group support with one-on-one sessions, designed to help real people make real, lasting change. This virtual study is about finding what truly helps, so future care feels more personal, more effective, and more hopeful. With 1 in 10 adolescents affected by substance use each year, the need for better support is not just important, it’s urgent.
