About the Study

Are foot pain, tingling, or numbness from type 2 diabetes affecting your daily life? Purdue University researchers are studying a compression and heat therapy that could improve circulation, bring relief, and support better long-term foot health.

They are exploring a simple, non-invasive treatment that may reduce the risk of serious complications while helping feet stay stronger and healthier. If effective, this approach could reduce the risk of serious complications like infections or amputations and improve the quality of life for people with type 2 diabetes.

Don’t miss this opportunity to care for your health while helping advance life-changing research. Take the next step—see if you qualify today.

Why Participate?

  • Try a gentle, non-invasive combined compression and heat therapy designed to support better circulation and foot health at no cost.
  • Receive personalized vascular health assessments and expert feedback to better understand your blood flow and circulation.
  • Earn $50 per session, with a total compensation of up to $100 for completing both study visits. For participants who cannot drive, transportation will be provided at no cost by Uber or Lyft.
  • Take part in research that may lead to safer, easier treatments for diabetes, peripheral artery disease, and other circulatory conditions.
  • Contribute to findings that could help prevent serious complications and improve the quality of life for others with type 2 diabetes in the future.

Your Rights

  • You will receive a detailed outline of all details of the study, including treatment, risks, and procedures, and you will be given the chance to ask study staff questions before you decide whether to participate.
  • If you decide to participate in the study and later feel that you no longer wish to be part of it, you can withdraw at any time
  • Your records relating to this study and any other information received will be kept strictly confidential, except as required by law.
