About the Study

Do you use e-cigarettes? E-cigarette use remains at large in both adolescents and adults, despite growing evidence of the harm it causes. A recent publication indicates that e-cig vaping can lead to chronic bronchitis without concomitant use of tobacco smoke. Because of this, it’s essential to learn about the potential risks of vaping that may affect you in the long run.

Researchers from the University of Kansas Medical Center seek to know more about what happens to your lungs when you vape. Vaping has been shown as a risk factor for developing chronic bronchitis – even if the person does not have a background in cigarette smoking. Through this study, researchers can learn more about how e-cigarettes can cause lung problems and inflammation.
