About the Program
Are you connected to a young adult who is facing the challenges of opioid addiction? If so, your unique perspective and relationship could be instrumental in a groundbreaking clinical program led by Maryland Treatment Centers. We understand that behind every individual struggling with opioid use disorder, there are families and friends deeply affected and eager to help. Whether you’re a parent, sibling, friend, or partner, your involvement could be the key to unlocking new, effective treatment methods for Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) in young adults.
This project focuses on developing a new therapeutic model specifically designed to increase treatment initiation, engagement, and retention in MOUD treatments among young adults aged 18-26. This clinical program is not just about treatment; it’s about providing seminal information that can inform and improve treatment models for young adults struggling with opioid use disorder. Your participation could be a turning point in how we approach and manage opioid addiction in this vulnerable age group.
