About the Study

College life can bring unique challenges – late nights, social pressures, and balancing responsibilities can sometimes impact both drinking habits and eating patterns. Researchers at USC are studying how a mobile program may support students in managing alcohol use and binge eating behaviors.

By participating, you’ll not only have the chance to reflect on your own experiences but also play an important role in shaping resources that could benefit other students in the future.

Your voice matters. Sharing your perspective can help researchers build tools that support student health and well-being on campus and beyond. Compensation will be provided. Sign up today and make a difference!

Why Participate?

  • Participants will be compensated up to $60 in gift cards for completing the entire study, or $20 for each completed survey. The gift cards will be redeemable at a number of online retailers (e.g., Amazon, Starbucks, clothing shops, restaurants). Compensation will only be provided after successful participation.
  • All participants will receive university resources if desired.
  • There are no personal benefits to you for taking part in this study. However, your answers on the survey may help researchers better understand eating and drinking behaviors and accessible mobile interventions among university students.

Your Rights

  • You will receive a detailed outline of all details of the study, including treatment, risks, and procedures, and you will be given the chance to ask study staff questions before you decide whether to participate.
  • If you decide to participate in the study and later feel that you no longer wish to be part of it, you can withdraw at any time
  • Your records relating to this study and any other information received will be kept strictly confidential, except as required by law.
