Background
The University of Melbourne is conducting a research study for people with persistent knee pain to assess different online treatment options. This will include access to online materials or home exercise programs delivered by a physiotherapist via Skype.
Persistent knee pain in people over 50 years can typically be attributed to knee osteoarthritis and often care in remote areas is only accessible online, as access to specialised health professionals is not always available. This study will evaluate how technology could positively impact those suffering from persistent knee pain.
