Location: This is an online study open to anyone in the United States
Lead Researcher: Dr. Robert Miranda Jr.
IRB: This study is approved by the Brown University IRB
About the Study
Using opioids and alcohol at the same time can seriously affect your health. By learning more about how young adults use these substances together in their everyday lives, we will develop better strategies to help them cut back or change their substance use.
We are conducting this research study to identify factors that lead young adults to use alcohol and opioids together. If eligible, participants will complete virtual study visits and answer brief questions throughout the day using a smartphone app. Our goal is to develop new ways to help people reduce their substance use. Help make a difference—sign up today!
Why Participate?
- Participants will be compensated up to $305.
- Participants will contribute valuable information that may benefit other young adults who are trying to change their alcohol and opioid use.
- Participants will help improve treatment options for people who want to change their substance use.
