About the Study

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a highly prevalent disease worldwide. Despite a number of therapies currently being available, patients with COPD still experience troubling symptoms, have exacerbations, have suboptimal lung function and it impacts their quality of life. Available standard-of-care therapy shows insufficient treatment effect on symptoms, lung function, flare-ups, and long-term progress.

These research studies aim to investigate the effects of a potential medication for COPD. They aim to look into whether this medication may lessen flare-ups and improve the quality of life of adults with this condition. If successful, the findings from these research studies will help in the development of future treatments for patients with COPD.

Why Participate?

  • Participants will receive a new potential treatment for COPD at no cost.
  • Participants may experience improvements in their COPD symptoms.
  • Participants will play an active role in their own health care and gain a greater understanding of their disease or condition.
  • Participants will be contributing valuable information that may benefit those with COPD in the future.
  • Participants will be helping to advance medical research on COPD.

  • If you decide to participate in the study and later feel that you no longer wish to be part of it, you can withdraw at any time.
  • Any information that you provide will be kept strictly confidential, except as required by law.
  • Qualified health professionals will monitor your health as it relates to the study.

Who Can Participate?
