Background
As many as 3 million Americans have Type 1 diabetes. Around 15,000 children and 15,000 adults are diagnosed each year.
This study aims to improve glucose control for Type 1 Diabetics by providing an APP with a smart bolus calculator, predictive alerts and treatment advice for meals, exercise carbs and bedtime snacks.
Researchers are recruiting men or women who are 15+ years old and use daily insulin injections. The study will involve 3 clinic visits, and a phone call every 2 weeks over the course of 12 weeks.

- You will be provided predictive advice on glucose control, as well as treatment advice prior to exercise and sleep.

- You will be compensated $50 per clinic visit ($150 total).

Your Rights
- If you decide to participate in the study and later feel that you no longer wish to be part of it, you may withdraw at any time.
- Your records relating to this study and any other information received will be kept strictly confidential, unless required by the law.
- Qualified health professionals will monitor your health as it relates to the study.
Who Can Participate?
- Men and women aged 15+ who have been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes for at least 1 year
- Use daily insulin injections and using carbohydrate counting to dose meal insulin
- Willing to attend 3 study visits at the research site over a period of 12 weeks and have a call with a researcher every 2 weeks
- Currently not participating in another clinical trial
