Background

This study is exploring if a new investigational topical cream (applied to the genital area) increases physical sexual arousal in women. The investigational topical cream is being developed for the treatment of Female Sexual Arousal Disorder (FSAD).

FSAD affects approximately between 5 – 15% of women in the United States. Women with FSAD are unable to get or stay physically aroused during sexual activity.  

This study is exploring if a new investigational topical cream (applied to the genital area) increases physical sexual arousal in women. The investigational topical cream is being developed for the treatment of Female Sexual Arousal Disorder (FSAD).

Why Participate?

  • You may experience an increase in physical sexual arousal.
  • You will be compensated up to $750 for participating in this study.
  • You will be helping to better understand the development of women’s sexual problems and inform future treatments for female sexual dysfunction.

  • Your records relating to this study and any other information received will be kept strictly confidential, except as required by the law.
  • Qualified health professionals will monitor your health as it relates to the study.

Who Can Participate?

  • Healthy women aged 30-55 years
  • Are willing to view sexually explicit films showing sexual activity between men and women
  • Are using an acceptable form of birth control
  • Able to attend 3 study visits at the research site over approximately 3 weeks
