Background

Atopic dermatitis (also known as Eczema) is an inflammatory skin condition that affects nearly 20% of children and about 2-10% of adults. Pruritus is a common condition linked with atopic dermatitis. Pruritus is an urge to itch or an unpleasant sensation that produces the urge to itch and scratch. Physicians consider the management of this skin condition a challenge. Researchers are continually understanding and developing effective treatment options for pruritus associated with atopic dermatitis (eczema).

This study seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of a potential treatment for severe itching of the skin (pruritus) among adults with a history of atopic dermatitis (eczema). The potential study product will be administered on the skin via a topical spray.

Interested participants must be 18 to 65 years old who have severe itching of the skin (pruritus) with a history of atopic dermatitis (eczema). Participants must be willing to comply with the necessary study requirements. Compensation will be available for eligible participants.
