Background

This study is investigating the visual performance of several new soft contact lens designs. These lenses will be compared to those which are currently available on the market.

Healthy males and females aged 45+ who know how to use contact lenses are invited to participate.

After the screening visit, participants will be required to attend the research site for 9-11 study visits (45 – 75 min each) over 2 – 5 months, starting in January 2016.  During this time each participant will test 4-5 different contact lens designs.

Benefits of Participation

  • Participants will receive $30 per study visit as reimbursement for time and travel costs. This will be paid in the form of Coles-Myer vouchers (redeemable at these stores).
  • Contact lenses may result in improved visual performance for the duration of the study.
  • Qualified health professionals will monitor your ocular surface health.
  • You will be helping to advance medical research.

Your Rights

  • If you decide to participate in the study and later feel that you no longer wish to be part of it, you may withdraw at any time.
