UTI Treatments Not Providing Relief? Explore A Potential New UTI Antibiotic!

Research Center: ACRC Trials
Location: 5625 Eiger Rd, Suite 200, Austin, TX 78735
Lead Researcher: Matthew Brimberry, M.D.
IRB Committee: This study has been reviewed and approved by the Advarra Institutional Review Board

About the Study

Acute cystitis, otherwise known as uncomplicated urinary tract infection (UTI), is common among women. About 11% of women above 18 years old have had at least 1 episode of UTI each year. There are times that women who have frequent UTIs suffer from antibiotic resistance and they would need new and stronger medications.

Researchers at ACRC Trials are conducting a research study open to women who have UTI and are not currently pregnant. This research study is looking into a new antibiotic that could help treat UTIs that may be resistant to other older antibiotics. This study may help individuals have access to a new treatment that could potentially help better treat their symptoms.
