About the Study

Research Center: Lindner Center of HOPE
Location: 4075 Old Western Row Rd, Mason, OH 45040
Lead Researcher: Susan McElroy, M.D.
IRB Committee: This study has been reviewed and approved by the University of Cincinnati Institutional Review Board

Are you struggling with depression because of bipolar disorder? Depression is usually experienced among those with bipolar disorder and can be an additional debilitating condition. Currently, there is a lack of research studies for bipolar treatment, and the available treatment options do not work for everyone.

Researchers at the Lindner Center of HOPE are doing a study that may pave the way for better mental health. This research study seeks to understand if a potential medication will improve mood in people with bipolar disorder who are currently suffering from depression. This medication is a pill that has been seen to help people with ADHD. If this is successful, many people who struggle with bipolar depression may get the relief they deserve.

If you think this research study may help you as well as other people, read on!
